Over the past few months, I have grown significantly in my business and personal life. I feel incredibly focused.

MRR has surpassed $25K, which is excellent. The next milestone is $35k in MRR. This is right around the corner for us.

A continued passion for learning about human patterns and what makes people tick does interfere with some tasks, but I am much better at catching these moments and staying on track.

I still have not worked on building out my affiliate and partnership sites. With several website projects in our pipeline, client and current business must be a priority. I will schedule off-hour site development so that I can accomplish these goals.

The last week has presented many opportunities, and I am happy to be so blessed. I have to check in with myself and realize that I am allowing myself to be pulled in many directions.

I need to get better at saying "no" when the opportunity isn't the right match.

I thought that I was pretty decent at doing so, but over the last couple of weeks, I realize otherwise. The upside is that there is always room for improvement, and I look forward to furthering my journey.

When I sold physical goods, I recognized inventory's risk to a company. With this company, the risk is that we have to provide a service that is wholly reliant on third-party capabilities and outside influences. Google, at a whim, can game the game, and there isn't a damn thing we can do about it. I guess, "imposter syndrome" is weighing heavy on me these last few days, even with the two decades of experience. 

I keep racking my mind for the golden ticket. That is - a company that does not carry the risk of inventory or is substantially reliant on a third party.

Towards the end of the month. I know we will be wrapping up the monthly client task, reporting, and prepping for the coming month next week. Plus, we are working on our brand change/redesign. So, busy busy busy. August is turning out the be quite a good month for us.

Once some of the bigger site builds finish up, I do want to set some time aside to strategize my affiliate sites and the couple of partnerships that I have going on.

I missed last week's update. I'm still getting used to putting myself out there and keeping a writing schedule. I have continued daily reading and working on a few pieces of content. 

A small addition to MRR is in the works. A couple of additional proposals need to be submitted, and a couple of outstanding proposals need follow-up.

Time management seems to be an issue. There are far too many tasks, and they all have high priority. 

Breaking down the goals into smaller achievable steps is key to accomplishing all tasks.

Starting this blog and timeline is a bit of a commitment, but I look forward to seeing how it unfolds years from now.

I’m making progress in rebranding SEM Dynamics and updating my office/desk. Using remote user testing to see the reaction to competitor sites. I look forward to analyzing the results and incorporating this information into our redesign.

MRR is at around $19K right now, and we have some plans that will hopefully get us back to the $25K MRR.

Also, I’ve been thinking about affiliate websites. I have three that I’ve been sitting on. I think it’s time to grab at least one of them and start the optimization process. Next week I will have goals and milestones for one of the sites.
